Link exchange
A link exchange (also known as a banner exchange) is a confederation of websites that operates similarly to a web ring. Webmasters register their web sites with a central organization, that runs the exchange, and in turn receive from the exchange HTML code which they insert into their web pages. In contrast to a web ring, where the HTML code simply comprises simple circular ring navigation hyperlinks, in a link exchange the HTML code causes the display of banner advertisements, for the sites of other members of the exchange, on the member web sites, and webmasters have to create such banner advertisements for their own web sites.[1][2][3]

Design a business card that people will actually hang on to!
We all know how important a first impression is, but equally important is a lasting impression and that's where your business card can come into play. After you meet someone and hand him or her your business card that small piece of paper is the only concrete thing they have to remember you by. At a bare minimum the card should tell them your name, company, occupation and contact information. But, your business card should also give them a reminder of who you are as a person. And that is why having a well-designed business card is so important.
While it may seem like a good idea to go with something comfortable and neutral, you should consider creating a personalized business card. For example, if you are a teacher why not try a chalkboard theme business card. Or let everyone remember that you're the person they met that can teach them to play the guitar like a rockstar with this custom business card design. Both of these personalized business cards help people remember just who you are in the event that person draws a blank on your name. And another advantage is that your card will be easy to spot in the pile of business cards most of us having lying around. Another thing some people try to do is make their actual card a unique shape or object. While this may be eye catching and cause some talk it's not always the best idea because those cards tend to not be kept around for long. They don't fit in traditional wallets and so can be cumbersome to tote around. A good idea for making your card different, but sticking with the regular business card size is to create a vertical design. The vertical design creates a custom business card that will stand out in a subtle way and still fit in most standard wallets for future use. Or you can use an oval shaped business card, which is an unusual shape, but still wallet-friendly!
Another aspect of the card design is the information itself. You don't want to make the business card overcrowded with information. If you have a lot to say on such a little space try using the front and back sides. And the font on your business card speaks volumes about your personality. Scripts convey a non-businessy feel and are best used minimally because they are so decorative. These are good if you are in a creative field and don't have a lot of information to convey on your business card. Otherwise you are better off choosing a type font, they look more professional and are easier to read in small spaces.
Creating a business card that has all of your pertinent information is very important as a first step. But, to be truly successful in business you need to personalize your business card to make it memorable. Add a little of your personality to a custom business card and it will go a long way towards helping contacts remember who you are and what you do, which is the ultimate objective of a business card.
